URL Submission and
Search Engine Ranking

'Word of Mouth' is the most important marketing tool, regardless of platform. Aside from that, the most important strategy for internet marketing is  search engine registration and placement. With proper ranking (in the top 30-40 results for marketed keyword and keyword phrases), you can drive active and passive customers to your website. By an 'active customer' we mean someone who is specifically looking for a product you sell or service you provide and will be checking out several websites that show up in a search engine query.

By a passive customer, we mean anyone who is just lollygaging on the net, not specifically intent on buying, but just browsing. In other words, he/she may only check out only the websites that occupy the first five or so rankings on a search.  But, if he/she happens upon a well produced website, it should inspire him to purchase or inquire further.

Ideally, being positioned in the top five is money. That is what we strive for, but it isn't always realistic. The key is that top 30 - 40 ranking.

If you have done searches for anything on the web, then you know that each search engine has its own set of protocol it uses to index and rank websites. Fortunately (for our clients), we've studied the search engines, we've read the reports and we've practiced different methods of submission for over a year now, and the methods we have developed work. We don't want to fool you, it isn't complex and there isn't some scientific study of a Search Engine logarithms or anything like that, but it does require a lot of additional work. Certain sites get to the top and we've had success placing them there.
